Reference Tracking Information Report - Any Reference
This report will provide list of referenced datasets that have been defined to the RT/RTM/RTDS in eventACTION.

Change Requests

When a change request is deleted, a record is written to the DBLOG, showing the change request ID and the userid of the user who deleted it, along with the date and time. A job is provided in prefix.CNTL(CREQDEL) to select and print the records from DBLOG.

ussACTION Reference Tracking by Filename

A new beta feature allows Filenames to be specified for Reference Tracking. Each reference to the file will be recorded by User-ID, Jobname, SMF, Type (TSO, USS, ...) and Directory. A count is maintained along with the most recent reference date. The filename does not have to be defined to USS/RT or USS/CT (option O).

This new feature is only available if ussACTION is started with USS#.

To use this feature, add the following statement to the eventACTION parmlib member:

·      USSRTF=YES

Select option RTF from the ussACTION main panel to add filenames to RTF.

ussACTION Start Options

Currently ussACTION can be started with either one of the following eventACTION parmlib statements:

·         USSSTART=USS

·         USSSTART=USS+

·         USSSTART=USS#

USS and USS+ can also be specified via PARM= in the MZCA STC procedure.

Different sets of hooks are used in USS, USS+ and USS# to achieve essentially the same results. As of this release, all ussACTION users are encouraged to start ussACTION with USS#. No migration actions are necessary.

Both USS and USS+ will continue to be supported, although future new enhancements such as Reference Tracking by Filename (RTF) may only be available in USS#.

Reference track Tape Datasets

The RTDS feature has been enhanced to track tape datasets. To enable this feature, simply add the tape dataset name to RTDS with no volser and specify PS for 'DS Types'.
