Notes
- On systems running z/OS 1.5 and above, the eventACTION database data sets must be excluded from the z/OS Enhanced Sequential Data Set Integrity feature. Please refer to the eventACTION Planning and Installation Guide for further information.
- On systems running z/OS 1.10 or above, with eventACTION V7.07 and below, please contact Action Software GmbH Support for the fix to Issue #1508.
- On systems running z/OS 1.11 or above, with eventACTION V7.07 and below, users MUST specify REUSASID(NO) in SYS1.PARMLIB(DIAGxx).
- For correct support of ISHELL and OEDIT on z/OS 1.11 or above, ussACTION MUST be at release 7.09.02 or above.
- Systems running V7.09 or earlier on z/OS 1.12 or above must specify or default NON_VSAM_XTIOT=NO in SYS1.PARMLIB(DEVSUPxx), or else eventACTION may fail to track some dynamically allocated datasets.
- z/OS 1.12 allows subsystem initialisation routines to run in parallel. This affects the ability to ensure that ISV product interfaces are installed in a specific order. Please review the cross-system product dependencies section of the eventACTION Planning and Installation Guide in conjunction with the SYS1.PARMLIB(IEFSSNxx) member(s) to determine whether this affects your system. If it does, please contact Action Software GmbH Technical Support for guidance.
- Systems running eventACTION 7.10 or higher on z/OS 1.10 or z/OS 1.11 must have the fix for APAR OA30697 installed.
